SHE DID IT: Lauren Boebert Fights Back With A Vengeance… Takes Legal Action Against Democratic Group Pushing ‘Disgusting Accusations’

(Congressional Agenda) – Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert from Colorado is coming out of the gates ready to throw down against an organization that is attempting to hurl mud in her direction by describing a past that she is claiming never existed.

These kinds of tactics are to be expected from a radical left that is desperate to try and make up some sort of ground after the disaster that is the Biden administration. I mean, the only thing they can use at this point, with devastating spikes in inflation, gas prices, and a hike in the interest rate is character assassination.

A political action committee called American Muckrackers is tossing out tons of allegations at Boebert, referring to her as an “unlicensed paid escort” who had “two abortions” in a brand new news release put out on Tuesday of this week.

That’s pretty low, even by leftist standards.

And Boebert wasn’t the only person this group assaulted. They decided to toss out GOP Texas Sen. Ted Cruz’s name as well.

“The allegations have been red meat for social media and were the subject matter of tweets by left-wing accounts such as Occupy Democrats and Young Turks founder Cenk Uygur,” The Western Journal reported.

However, Boebert is not going to allow herself to be slandered in such a way. In fact, she’s fighting back even harder against the allegations, as her attorney spoke with the PAC and told the organization it’s looking at a civil defamation lawsuit.

The congresswoman also responded to the preposterous claims online too.

“Fact Check: Not true,” she published in a tweet on Tuesday. “Fake News. Four Pinocchios. Also… Y’all need Jesus!”

“Partisan organizations putting out blatantly false and disgusting accusations won’t stop me from advancing freedom and conservative values,” Boebert went on to say in a statement Wednesday sent to Fox News. “This group’s vile conduct demonstrates why people are fed up with politics. I am not going to stand by and pretend this is normal behavior.”

“This political committee, funded by far-left Democrat donors and run by two left-wing political operatives, published pages of false statements knowing they were completely fabricated,” she continued. “The law on this type of defamation is clear and this conduct will be subject to civil and criminal penalties.”

Jonathan Anderson, Boebert’s attorney, sent a letter to American Muckrakers accusing the PAC of releasing a “series of false and defamatory statements.”

Anderson then stated that the group’s goal is nothing more than partisan attacks.

“Muckrakers has marketed itself as a ‘watchdog group,’ the truth is that Muckrakers is a political committee that exclusively opposes conservative candidates, is funded by established Democrat donor sources, and is managed by Democrat political operatives,” he stated in the letter, reported by folks over at Fox News.

“We have irrefutable evidence that each one of these statements is patently false,” Anderson wrote later in the letter sent out to the PAC. “You knew this though.”

“Muckrakers published these outlandish statements knowing they were fabricated but you likely operated under the inaccurate assumption that publishing false statements against a public figure would not create legal liability,” the letter continued.

“Although defamation against a public figure carries a high standard of proving that those spreading the information knew it was false at the time of publication, Anderson said Boebert’s attorneys ‘have evidence, including internal Muckrakers’ text and email communications, that demonstrates Muckrakers did in fact publish statements knowing those statements to be false,'” the Western Journal reported.

The attorney stated that the PAC might also have violated criminal law in the state of Colorado, where there is currently a statute banning false information that is intended to try and influence voters in an election.

The news release from the PAC alleged that Boebert had been meeting with escort clients through a “sugar daddy” website and then stated that one of those individuals introduced her to Sen. Ted Cruz, who then encouraged Boebert to take a shot at running for office.

The accusations concerning the abortions were attributed to an “anonymous source.”

Which is essentially code for “we made this crap up.”

“Fox News reported that a woman in one photo released by the group is not Boebert but Melissa Carone, who entered the public limelight by making election fraud claims after the 2020 election,” the WJ report stated.

David Wheeler, who serves as the president for the American Muckrakers PAC, stated that his group is standing behind its claims, going on to add that the “one person that can answer all of these questions is Lauren Boebert.”

These guys are unbelievable. The truth will come out, and American Muckrakers will be exposed for the insidious group of liars and thugs they truly are.
