GOP Rep Proposes Death Penalty For Child Sex Abusers

(Congressional Agenda) – A Republican congresswoman from Florida is now proposing legislation that would require those who are convicted of sexually abusing or assaulting a minor to either be put in prison for life or be put to death. I have to say, I’m a really big fan of this idea. Huge fan. I can’t even articulate how much I love this. Being completely real and honest. Those who harm children and use them for their own sexual gratification are worthless monsters that deserve to be put down. Period.

We, as a nation, should never tolerate assaults on our most vulnerable citizens. And pedophiles are known to be repeat offenders who rarely ever stop assaulting children. Since they are perpetually a threat and danger to society, they need to be dealt with in a permanent fashion. A bill like this addresses that need.

According to The Western Journal’s latest report, Rep. Anna Paulina Luna stated that the ‘No Repeat Child Sex Offenders Act’ is set to be introduced in the House of Representatives on Thursday. She explained the philosophy behind the bill in a couple of posts made on social media.

“You cannot rehabilitate predators. If you rape children, you deserve the death penalty,” Luna wrote in a post on X. “Death penalty. It will come to the floor. Let’s see who tries to protect pedophiles,” she continued on Facebook.

In comments Luna gave to Fox News, she pointed out that the new bill will also apply to individuals who hire minors for sex.

“Anyone who is even going to consider exploiting someone like this — and you can’t tell me that they don’t know that these people are trafficked or that they don’t know that that’s a young child — but the fact is … if you’re knowingly doing this, you have to be held accountable,” she remarked. “It’s pretty black and white.”

“The bill would also impose the death penalty or life in prison on convicted sex traffickers. Under current law, sex traffickers may receive a maximum of 10 years in prison and a fine,” the WJ article said.

“It’s absurd to me, not only as a new mom, but also if you just look at some of the federal statutes, that there’s not more strict punishments for people that are doing this,” Luna added.

She also wants to see the federal minimum sentence for rape increased to 30-years behind bars and desires tougher penalties for those in possession of child pornography. Again, I whole-heartedly support that idea.

“It is absurd that rapists can get off after a few years of ‘good’ behavior after destroying lives. I will also be asking to increase the federal minimum,” the congresswoman penned Saturday on X.

“Whether it’s issues of rape or molestation … it destroys people’s lives, and it’s something that they carry with them for the rest of the time that they’re adults. And so it can impact people, and we should be thinking of this very seriously,” the Florida Republican asserted.

“One of my big platforms has been, how do you combat child trafficking, just with everything happening in our country? And it seems like there’s been this obviously massive issue here in the States with consumption of … child pornography and/or just attacks, really, on kids,” Luna continued. “I think that if you’re really about protecting children … you have to have strict laws. And that’s exactly why we’ve introduced it.”

Let’s hope there are enough folks in the House and Senate who back this bill and will vote in favor of it becoming law. As she pointed out herself, those who are against this legislation will find themselves in the awkward position of essentially defending pedophiles along with their sick and twisted crimes.

    Bible says:
    Mark 9:42
But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be thrown into the sea.

  2. But there has to be a clause with teenage boyfriend and girlfriend’s where one turns 17 and the other is 16 or you will be killing innocent children. For true offenders yea I agree but this system is not fail safe
