MTG Demands Probe Into Weapons Left In Afghanistan After Reports Of Use By Hamas

(Congressional Agenda) – The vast majority of Americans are well aware that the Afghanistan troop withdrawal debacle led by President Joe Biden resulted in the deaths of 13 military members due to a suicide bomber who detonated an explosive device at the airport in Kabul. However, it wasn’t only U.S. troops who died during this failure of foreign policy by the current administration. The number of Afghans who have paid the ultimate price for this decision is far, far higher.

As per Rachel Emmanuel of The Western Journal, reports have emerged stating that the weapons we left behind in Afghanistan are now being used by terrorist groups such as Jaish-e-Mohammad, Lashkar-e-Taiba, and even Hamas.

“According to Just the News, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia has called for a probe to look into U.S. weapons left behind in Afghanistan or given to Ukraine that may have ‘fallen into the hands of terrorists,'” Emmanuel wrote.

“It’s our duty and responsibility, if we are finding out information and being told intel that U.S. weapons have fallen into the hands of terrorists, especially with the horrific attack that just happened on Israel, it’s our duty to investigate and find out if that’s happened or not,” the congresswoman remarked.

Greene then commented on her social media account last Tuesday, “We need to work with Israel to track serial numbers on any U.S. weapons used by Hamas against Israel. Did they come from Afghanistan? Did they come from Ukraine? Highly likely the answer is both.”

The Georgia Republican also went on to say after media reports and classified briefings came out, that there is now “very credible evidence and very good reasons to be concerned that U.S. taxpayer-funded military weapons did fall into the hands of Hamas and had been used to murder innocent Israelis.”

In January of this year — 2023 — NBC reported that weapons abandoned in Afghanistan had fallen into the hands of militants from Pakistan in the Indian-controlled territory of Kashmir. Biden’s failure in the Middle East continues to yield collateral damage. So much blood is on his hands that not allowing him to have a second term in the White House should be a no-brainer for American voters, regardless of party affiliation. Of course, the problem with liberal voters is that facts and truth matter far less than their agenda.

“Authorities in India told the outlet that militant organizations labeled as terrorist organizations by the U.S., such as Jaish-e-Mohammad or Lashkar-e-Taiba, are now in possession of M4s, M16s, and other U.S.-made arms and ammunition,” the report noted. “According to The Associated Press, in September, Pakistan’s caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar ul Haq Kakar, said that U.S. military equipment, from firearms to night-vision goggles, had reached the Pakistani Taliban.”

A piece from CNN revealed that the United States ended up leaving a total of $7 billion worth of military equipment and ammunition in Afghanistan. And we’re not just talking about guns. We left air-to-ground munitions, aircraft, various kinds of military vehicles, communications equipment, and a lot more. Everything budding terrorist groups need in order to kill innocent people in their quest for a jihad.

Making matters even worse, some of this stuff is now being used by Hamas in their assault on Israel, the one country in the Middle East region of the world we can actually count on to have our backs in the never ending battle against radical Islamic terrorism.

“Earlier this year, Newsweek reported that Israel is concerned about the risk of U.S. and Western-supplied weapons to Ukraine potentially reaching Israel’s adversaries in the Middle East, particularly Iran,” Emmanuel stated in her article. “An Israeli commander also told the outlet that U.S. small arms left behind in Afghanistan have been observed in the hands of Palestinian groups operating in the Gaza Strip.”

Biden needs to be held accountable for this massive screw up. The best way to do that, aside from impeachment, is to ensure he is not awarded a second term in office next year.

  1. Surely, the cost of burying the equipment and abandoning billions of dollars worth of equipment doesn’t outway shipping it back and or replacing it. “It would cost to much to bring it back ” was the cockamamie excuse I read, thought up by some brainchild in the news or Biden’s admin. If that were the case people wouldn’t bother exporting their products for profit. Makes one ask what was the real purpose. To increase sales for business cronies, or a secret deal by a traitor in office?

  2. MTG must have a short memory. This deal was brokered by-wait for it-none other than Donald Trump. Maybe she could investigate the munitions left in Europe after WW2. and Korea and Vietnam. That should keep her busy.
