(Congressional Agenda) – Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas has allegedly made remarks during a closed-door meeting that once heard by Fox News host Harris Faulkner, left her visibly stunned. Florida Republican Congresswoman Kat Cammack was having a conversation with Faulkner live on television earlier this week when she went on to offer a description of the surprising statement Mayorkas made to members of Congress during the meeting.
According to a report issued by BizPac Review, “House Republicans are moving ahead to impeach the DHS secretary for his abject failure in handling the crisis at the southern border which House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) called a ‘humanitarian catastrophe.'”
“We’ve been asking Secretary Mayorkas since he took office, to enforce the law, to do his job, and he’s done exactly the opposite. He’s testified untruthfully before Congress, repeatedly,” Johnson commented on CBS’s “Face the Nation” Sunday. “He’s stood in front of my committee on multiple occasions and insisted that the border is closed and secure when everyone in America knows it’s not true.”
Cammack then responded to a video clip of Johnson’s comments during “The Faulkner Focus” applying a healthy layer of sarcasm when referring to Mayorkas as “a real peach.”
In a closed-door meeting with DHS Sec. Mayorkas and members of Congress, Sec. Mayorkas told us if we impeached him, we wouldn’t like “who comes next.” His intent in turning every town in America into a border town is purposeful and it’s time to send him packing.

“He has lied repeatedly to Congress [and] has been negligent in his duties,” she then stated, claiming our country’s national security “depends” on the DHS secretary being impeached.
When Cammack was asked by Faulkner if she believed it was possible to boot Mayorkas, she declared, “Absolutely. I have yet to meet one Republican- heck, I even know some Democrats that are anxious to get rid of him.”
It was at this point that the representative revealed disturbing comments made by Mayorkas during the meeting after members of Congress reminded the DHS secretary he was going to be impeached.
She told the Fox News host, “he said ‘you are not going to like who comes next.’ I asked him if that was a threat, and he smiled.”
Yikes. That almost sounds like a bit of a veiled threat, doesn’t it? Like Mayorkas is saying we’re better off with him, the devil we know, rather than who the administration has planned to take his place, thus, you better think long and hard about impeaching me.
“This drew a visible shock from the Fox News host as Cammack continued, ‘This man is dangerous. He knows exactly what he is doing, and he is two-faced. We need to get rid of him. I hope now,'” the report divulged.
“What did he mean ‘who comes next?’” Faulkner asked the Florida Republican.
“Well, that was the big question,” Cammack replied, “I asked him, I said, ‘Is that a threat?’ and he just smiled. And I thought, ‘This man knows exactly what he is doing. This is 100% by design. They want an open border crisis.’”
“Mayorkas, meanwhile, has taken to defending his record and refuting claims by Republicans that he has failed in securing the border and generally doing his job leading the Department of Homeland Security, insisting that the ‘majority of all migrants encountered at the southwest border throughout this administration have been removed, returned or expelled,'” BPR continued.
The Homeland Security Secretary then made a claim on Monday that the border crisis is an “issue that is highly politicized.”
“Mayorkas’ decision-making and refusal to enforce the laws passed by Congress” has led to the border crisis and “his failure to fulfill his oath of office demands accountability,” House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Rep. Mark Green of Tennessee asserted.
Let’s hope Mayorkas is held responsible for his failure to keep the nation safe and allowing our country to be invaded by illegal aliens for years now while doing nothing to stop it.
