Contempt Of Congress! Hunter Biden Defies Subpoena (VIDEO)

(Congressional Agenda) – Hunter Biden, the sleazy troubled younger son of President Joe Biden, delivered remarks outside of the Capitol building on Wednesday. Afterward, he skipped out on his scheduled House Oversight Committee deposition while also attempting to garner sympathy by claiming he’s just an innocent victim being attacked by the big, bad MAGA bullies. Never mind the fact that he is the one who has been busted doing business with foreign entities, utilizing his father’s name and political influence to line his pockets with cash. Never mind he’s been caught, on video and in photographs, doing copious amounts of cocaine and having sex with prostitutes. Or how about not paying his taxes and violating gun laws?

And we’re supposed to believe he’s the victim in all of this? I don’t think so.

“I’m here today to acknowledge that I’ve made mistakes in my life,” the first son commented in his rant. He was accompanied by his attorney and Rep. Eric Swalwell, a Democrat from California who has a series of sex scandals of his own involving a Chinese spy. “But I’m also here today to correct how the MAGA Right has portrayed me for their political purposes.”

“Let me state as clearly as I can: My father was not financially involved in my business — Not as a practicing lawyer. Not as a board member of Burisma, not in my partnership with a Chinese private businessman, not my investment at all nor abroad, and certainly not as an artist,” he continued.

“They belittled my recovery, and they have tried to dehumanize me all to embarrass my father who has devoted his entire life to public service,” the president’s son added, hoping to squeeze some empathy out of the viewing audience. “For six years I have been a target of the unrelenting Trump attack team. ‘Where’s Hunter?’ Well, here’s my answer. I am here.”

“Hunter Biden’s public venting comes as conservatives proceed with an impeachment inquiry vote against President Biden for being involved in his foreign business dealings,” BizPac Review reported.

“Hunter Biden had agreed to appear for public testimony, but House Republicans wanted him to meet with them in private first. His refusal to sit down for that private deposition tees up a possible contempt vote by the GOP-led House,” the Washington Examiner noted in an article.

“The inquiry is looking into three main things, all of which relate to Hunter Biden: whether Joe Biden improperly used his position of power to enrich himself and his family, whether he used his influence to pressure the Department of Justice to help his son avoid criminal charges, and how involved he was in his family’s foreign business dealings,” the Washington Examiner pointed out.

“Hunter Biden faces federal tax evasion charges, as well as a separate gun charge by special counsel David Weiss,” the publication said. “House Republicans are also focusing on an allegation raised in an FBI tip sheet that says Joe Biden, along with his son, took bribes from Burisma, a Ukrainian energy company at which Hunter Biden was a board member, to pressure the Ukrainian government to fire a prosecutor.”

Republican House leaders were unsure whether or not Hunter would show up for his deposition until Wednesday morning, the very same day the impeachment inquiry vote was scheduled to take place.

“The younger Biden had offered to appear in public for a congressional hearing but had refused the private deposition, arguing that could give way to selective leaks. Rep. James Comer (R-KY), who chairs the House Oversight Committee, insisted the first son appear first for the closed-door deposition, in which committee lawyers can ask detailed investigative questions that build the facts of the case,” the Washington Examiner added in their report.

Hunter then blasted both Comer and Ohio Republican Rep. Jim Jordan, who is serving as the chairman of the Judiciary Committee, while putting on his performance in front of the Capitol. He once again stated that his dad “was not financially involved” with his business dealings.

“No evidence to support that my father was financially involved in my business because it did not happen,” Hunter Biden asserted.

“Republicans have lied over and over about every aspect of my personal and professional life,” the younger Biden remarked emphatically. “So much so, that the false facts are believed by too many people.”

“They have taken the light of my dad’s love for me and presented it as darkness. They have no shame,” he proclaimed.

He then accused House Republicans of having “engaged in unprecedented political interference.”

“Yet here I am, Mr. Chairman — taking up your offer… I’ve chosen,” he continued. “I am here to testify at a public hearing today to answer any of the committee’s legitimate questions.”

Hunter then declared, “Republicans do not want an open process where Americans can see their tactics, expose their baseless inquiry, or hear what I have to say.”

And if the grandstanding wasn’t already at peak levels, he followed that up with, “What are they afraid of? I’m here, I’m ready.”

California Republican Rep. Darrell Issa responded to Hunter Biden by saying, “My expectation is we will hold him in contempt.”

  1. Hunter Biden learned to lie from the master of liars, his father. His past addictions do not allow him to disobey a subpoena. Both the Biden’s belong in hail/

  2. Well, I think we’re about to find out if Congress is just a bunch of cowardliness puppets or truly cares about the Constitution of the United States…the end of civilization as we know it, or is dedicated to the gift that God’s infinite wisdom gave us…when one follows the gifts of God…one never loses!
