(Congressional Agenda) – Vice President Kamala Harris is an absolute nightmare for basically anyone who attempts to hold a conversation with her unaided by a teleprompter. An Islamic social media influencer found this out the hard way during an interview with the Democratic presidential nominee who refused to answer any questions related to the situation between Israel and Gaza. However, Harris took plenty of time to gush about bacon — which, as a bacon fanatic, I totally understand — a religiously forbidden food for Muslims. Just ponder the disastrous geopolitical situations her incompetence could land us in if she becomes president? I don’t want to even imagine what the world would look like.
“Kareem Rahma, host of the popular ‘Subway Takes’ which boasts almost a million combined followers on Instagram and TikTok, made the decision to scrap the interview with Harris, which was filmed over the summer, he told the New York Times,” Fox News reported. “Prior to the interview, Rahma was hoping to press Harris on policy, specifically the Biden administration’s support for Israel amid the ongoing war in Gaza, which he opposes, per the Times. But, despite asking on three calls with her team and the Democratic National Committee, he was ‘rejected.'”
A lot of the content on the show features guests giving and then defending an unpopular opinion. So what did the campaign greenlight for a topic instead? A Kamala hot take about people who remove their shoes on airplanes.
“[Rahma] ultimately agreed to the terms, reasoning that he could choose not to publish the video if it made him uneasy,” The New York Times story went on to reveal.
However, when it came time for Rahma to sit down and have a chat with the vice president, she ditched the whole airplane nonsense and instead, declared that “bacon is a spice.” Rahma and most other Muslims do not eat pork products as it is forbidden in their religion.
“I don’t know,” he replied to her statement in the unaired video. The Times then disclosed that he was “taken aback” by her remarks.
The footage, which was reviewed by the Times, shows Harris push forward saying, “Think about it, it’s pure flavor.” How can Rahma think about it when he doesn’t eat it and probably never has? The incompetence is next level.
“Rahma then reportedly paused the interview to tell her he doesn’t eat pork, then attempted to redirect Harris to the agreed upon topic of taking off shoes mid-flight. But Harris doubled down with another food take, which the Times said was on the advice of a staffer, praising anchovies on pizza,” Fox divulged. That’s disgusting. You can tell a lot about a person by their choice of pizza toppings. Kamala is probably gross.
“Well,” Rahma stated to Harris in the recording. “I’m 100% unsure on both of those.”
The influencer ultimately chose not to publish the interview, afraid it would make the Islamic community — and Democratic Party Muslims especially — rather upset.
“It was so complicated because I’m Muslim and there’s something going on in the world that 100 percent of Muslims care about,” Rahma commented to the outlet. “And then they made it worse by talking about anchovies. Boring!”
“Two senior Harris campaign officials told the Times that Rahma had been told about the bacon topic in advance but Rahma and his manager disputed this. Still, the campaign reportedly apologized for the bacon reference and offered to reshoot, per the Times, but Rahma made the decision not to move forward,” the piece continued.
Is Kamala Harris really the person we want to represent all Americans? I’d say this alone makes a rather strong case for “no.”
