Speaker Mike Johnson Shocks The Swamp With Bold New Capitol Bathroom Rules

(Congressional Agenda) – We are living in a time where it has become necessary for the current Speaker of the House to formulate rules that regulate the use of public bathrooms in the Capitol building in order to prevent biological males from being able to enter the women’s restroom. Somewhere along the line, we tumbled deep down the rabbit hole and landed smack dab in the middle of an alternate reality. I don’t know how else to explain the insanity unfolding in our modern day culture.

According to Bryan Chai of The Western Journal, Speaker Mike Johnson announced that only biological women were allowed to use the female facilities in the Capitol building. I know, I know. This is shocking, right? Who would’ve ever thought only actual women should be allowed to enter women’s bathrooms and locker rooms. Mind. Blown.

“All single-sex facilities in the Capitol and House Office Buildings — such as restrooms, changing rooms, and locker rooms — are reserved for individuals of that biological sex,” Johnson’s missive went on to say concerning the matter.

The speaker added, “It’s important to note that each Member office has its own private restroom, and unisex restrooms are available throughout the Capitol.” To make sure people got the point he was trying to make, Johnson then said, “Women deserve women’s only spaces.”

“Johnson’s Wednesday message comes on the heels of heightened tension in Congress, following the election of transgender Rep.-elect Sarah McBride of Delaware — who was born Tim McBride. McBride, the first transgender U.S. representative in history, immediately drew the ire of South Carolina GOP Rep. Nancy Mace, who immediately brought forth resolution regarding bathroom usage shortly after McBride’s win,” Chai wrote.

“McBride, a biological male, does not get a say in women’s private spaces,” Mace stated in a post published Monday on X. “Sarah McBride doesn’t get a say. I mean, this is a biological man,” Mace told reporters on Monday, as per CNN. The congresswoman also remarked McBride “does not belong in women’s spaces, women’s bathrooms, locker rooms, changing rooms, period, full stop.”

The thing that boggles my mind is how Democrats can claim to be supporters of transgender rights and also be for women’s rights. Biological men pretending to be women and competing in female sporting events is actually erasing the distinctions that make women what they are. It’s the erasure of females. Claiming to be for transgender rights and women’s rights is contradictory.

Will someone put an end to this madness?
