Trump Speaks Out On Melania’s Absence: Prepare For A Major Shake-Up

(Congressional Agenda) – Former President Donald Trump recently discussed why his wife, Melania Trump, has been largely absent during his campaign for the GOP presidential nomination, going on to say she will give up the things she likes due to her love for the country that has become her home. Most of the time during this run for the presidency, the former first lady has remained at their Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, keeping to herself and staying out of the public eye.

However, if Trump is victorious in the primary race, and all roads certainly go in that direction, Melania will leave behind her privacy, which she treasures dearly, to help serve her husband and this nation, Donald Trump revealed during a Fox News town hall event last week.

“It’s funny, she was a very successful model, very, very successful, and yet she was a private person. She’s going to be out a lot. Not because she likes doing it, but she likes the results,” Trump went on to say during the event, according to Fox News.

“She wants to see this country really succeed. She loves the country,” he explained.

“You know, a lot of first ladies would go out — they want to be everywhere. They get angry at their husband because he’s not introducing them,” Trump noted. “If I didn’t introduce Melania, she’d be very happy about it. She’s just a different kind of a person.”

He then remarked that he’s thankful and blessed that his wife has dedicated the vast majority of her time and attention to raising the couple’s son, Barron.

“Her life revolves around that boy. It’s so important to her,” Trump explained. “At the same time, it also revolves around our country and the success of our country. She’s raised a lot of money for charity. She’s a private person.”

“She’s going to be out a lot, but she does it for the good of the country, not for her. She’s somebody with a lot of confidence. She doesn’t need that,” he clarified.

“Melania Trump’s mother, Amalija Knavs, died in January at the age of 78 after a battle with cancer. At her funeral, the former first lady recalled her mother as ‘my dear friend. An irreplaceable treasure. A gift bestowed upon me by the universe,'” The Western Journal said.

It must be extremely difficult to be a somewhat quiet, introverted person and also a prominent public figure. Melania Trump, unlike some of our other recent first ladies, has poise and grace, a quiet dignity that sets her apart from most people in powerful positions of influence. This has endeared her to the American public. She will no doubt be an incredible asset for Trump’s campaign in the general election.
