Reporters For Associated Press Ordered Not To Use T-Word For Hamas

(Congressional Agenda) – News organizations today are, for the most part, progressive propaganda makers whose sole purpose for existence is the furtherance of leftist ideology and the implementation and acceptance of a brand new vision for the future of the United States. Look at all the time spent over the four years Donald Trump was president attempting to slam and attack him ruthlessly on a daily basis, trying to purposefully brainwash voters and viewers into opposing him. It was nearly all the news media talked about.

And nothing much has changed since Biden took over the White House. In fact, the narrative spinning has gotten much, much worse. A prime example of this nonsense comes from the Associated Press, who, as per an article published by The Washington Free Beacon, is now refusing to allow its reporters and writers to refer to Hamas as a terrorist organization, despite the fact it was designated as such by the federal government. And this designation was given to the group not just by our government, but by others around the world.

“The news outlet states in its ‘Israel-Hamas Topical Guide‘ that because ‘terrorism and terrorist have become politicized, and often are applied inconsistently … the AP is not using the terms for specific actions or groups, other than in direct quotations.’ The guidance will affect how dozens of regional newspapers and national outlets like Politico report on the ongoing war in Gaza,” the Free Beacon noted.

“Hamas, an Islamist militant group dedicated to the annihilation of Israel and Jews around the world, is classified as a terrorist organization by dozens of countries, including the United States and the European Union. Hamas has undertaken hundreds of terrorist attacks against civilians since 1993, according to the Jewish Virtual Library,” the piece continued. “Instead of referring to Hamas—which earlier this month killed hundreds of innocent civilians, including children in an unprompted attack on Israel—as a terrorist group, the outlet says journalists should call its members ‘militants.'”

“Terms such as Hamas fighters, attackers or combatants are also acceptable depending on the context,” the Associated Press style guide goes on to inform reporters.

When asked for a comment, the Associated Press did not respond.

First off, the men in Hamas are not fighters, attackers, or just combatants. These are individuals who are attempting to use actual violence along with threats of harm in order to force political change. That’s the very definition of a terrorist.

The Associated Press has a very complicated relationship with the Hamas terrorist organization, having once shared office space in Gaza. The office in question was utilized by the Associated Press for 15 years, but was annihilated by an Israeli airstrike back in May 2021. The Israeli military, the IDF, disclosed that the building held Hamas operatives along with weapons, and served as an office for Islamic Jihad, which is another organization that calls Hamas home and has been slapped with the terrorist label.

“We are shocked and horrified that the Israeli military would target and destroy the building housing AP’s bureau and other news organizations in Gaza,” AP president and CEO Gary Pruitt went on to remark in a statement at the time. I mean, the space was also being used by terrorist groups who were likely using the facilities to help plan attacks that would end the lives of innocent Jews living in the region.

“But an Israeli Defense Force source said at the time that Associated Press reporters were aware who their neighbors were. And The Atlantic reported in 2014 that Associated Press staffers in the Gaza office could see terrorists stationed next to their building launch rockets into Israel. Despite their proximity, the Associated Press never reported the rocket launches, which endangered the group’s staff and nearby civilians,” the Free Beacon stated.

“Hamas fighters would burst into the AP’s Gaza bureau and threaten the staff—and the AP wouldn’t report it,” The Atlantic divulged. “Cameramen waiting outside Shifa Hospital in Gaza City would film the arrival of civilian casualties and then, at a signal from an official, turn off their cameras when wounded and dead fighters came in, helping Hamas maintain the illusion that only civilians were dying.”

This isn’t the Associated Press’s first rodeo when it comes to trying to influence the coverage of a story. In fact, not long after Joe Biden took over the White House from the hands of former President Donald Trump, the publication put out a guide related to the topic of immigration.

“Going forward, the Associated Press declared in March 2021, journalists should refrain from using the word ‘surge’ to describe large amounts of illegal aliens entering the southern border. That decision, a pro-immigration activist revealed in a Washington Post op-ed, was the result of a pressure campaign from the left,” the report explained.

In order to craft believable narratives and brainwash the masses into accepting progressive ideology as normative, the left must control language. This is how you effectively spread ideas. Well, one way at least. It’s one of many reasons we need to continue to fight for freedom of speech.

  1. Maybe instead of Terrorists we should just call them BUTCHERS, ANIMALS, INHUMAN, CHILD RAPISTS, SLAUGHTERERS, MURDEROUS ANIMALS, KIDNAPPERS, ABUSERS, ARSONISTS, JEW HATERS etc. Call them what they are: inhuman murderers! Stop the cover up of the vicious violence!

  2. Let’s call a spade a spade, if it looks like a terrorists, acts like a terrorists, smells like a terrorists, THEN it MUST BE a TERRORIST!!!

Don’t try to be politically correct, because you can’t be politically correct when you’re the only ones trying to make the Hamas look like saints. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
