(Congressional Agenda) – It’s a long established fact that mainstream news outlets and publications are in the pocket for the Democratic Party. Almost all of them hold a left-wing slant to their news coverage, backing President Joe Biden and doing their best to cover for the nearly endless stream of gaffes, mishaps, and horrific policy implementations that have come from his administration. In other words, the vast majority of news producers today are just propagandists. To many, this might seem like an eye-rolling conspiracy theory, but it’s the truth.
In fact, according to Semafor, the re-election campaign for the president has started putting together “off-the-record” trips for some of the top political reporters and editors in the country to its headquarters located in Wilmington, Delaware. They are meeting up with top officials, including the campaign manager, deputies and other senior advisors who are providing background briefings concerning campaign strategies.
But that’s not all they’re doing at these little excursions.
“They’re also using it as an opportunity to tell them what they’re getting wrong. Two people with knowledge of the situation told Semafor that during meetings with reporters from outlets like The New York Times, the Washington Post, and others, campaign officials have invoked a coverage spreadsheet laying out areas where the team believes their reporting has fallen short,” the article said.
Yes, that’s right. President Biden’s re-election campaign is trying to control how the media reports on their efforts and on the happenings of the commander-in-chief. In case it isn’t clear, the president is attempting to get the media to create specific narratives that are favorable toward him and his efforts to win a second term in the White House. This is brazen, folks.
“In particular, campaign officials have chafed at some of the coverage of former President Donald Trump, feeling that outlets are too focused on his legal troubles and haven’t paid enough attention to some of his incendiary recent statements on the campaign trail. A source familiar told Semafor that with the exception of its recent meeting with the Times, the campaign meetings had been ‘substantive’ and ‘productive,’ and that Biden staffers were scheduled to meet in the coming days with political reporting teams from ABC, NBC, The Wall Street Journal, Fox, NPR, Reuters, Bloomberg, and others in Wilmington,” the piece, written by Jenna Moon, went on to say.
You simply cannot trust anything being reported on by the big, mainstream media outlets. Gone are the days of journalistic integrity and objectivity. We can no longer count on reporters to just give the facts and allow us to make up our own minds about the issues of the day. Everything comes through a specific lens. We must take the work being presented to us and verify it ourselves. Research is no longer an option, it’s a must, if we want to know the facts.
