(Congressional Agenda) – New York’s finest, Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, waved off a Fox News reporter’s question last week about her city closing down a school in order to transform it into a shelter for the massive influx of illegal aliens that are now pouring in thanks to the Biden administration’s open border policy. To be fair, given her lack of intellectual prowess, perhaps she didn’t even understand the question to begin with. Perhaps I’m being too gracious?
A piece from the Daily Caller revealed that James Madison High School, located in the borough of Brooklyn, recently made the announcement that students would “pivot to remote learning” so that the building could be used to shelter 2,000 illegals who are currently located at Floyd Bennett Field. Now children are being forced out of their educational facilities in order to provide housing for lawbreakers? When does the insanity finally come to an end? The border needs to be sealed off right now. Deport those who cross illegally back to their country of origin. Both of these steps are nothing more than enforcing the laws already in existence, which is the duty of the executive branch.
Hillary Vaughn, a reporter with Fox Business, asked AOC about the shutdown.
“You know, I think it’s — Again, this is not, it’s not in my district,” Ocasio-Cortez, who is the congressional representative for parts of Queens and the Bronx, replied. “I think it’s very clear here that what’s most important is that we identify a facility that’s appropriate for these folks. I don’t anticipate this being a long-term solution. It shouldn’t be a long-term solution.”
“Wow, what a non-answer!” former MTV VJ Kennedy zinged.
“Democratic Mayor Eric Adams of New York City defended the decision to shut down the school, citing an imminent storm with strong winds. Adams announced budget cuts to address the influx of over 130,000 migrants in November, including cuts in hiring police officers and has also sued bus companies that bring illegal immigrants to New York City,” the report continued.
Governors Greg Abbott of Texas and Doug Ducey of Arizona, both Republicans, started busing illegal aliens up to various “sanctuary” cities, including NYC, in 2022.
“Yeah, it’s not my district, you guys, so I don’t really have to worry about anything,” Kennedy added. “It’s her policies and that’s the problem, is people like AOC aren’t taking ownership of their philosophy, which is bankrupting cities across the country and people in New York, people in Chicago never really had to think about the immigration crisis, because to them it was theoretical. Well, now it’s actual.”

These schools are facilities to be used for the education of American children, not as housing for illegals. Taxpayer dollars go toward providing education to those in the city. Using the building for any other purpose is an abuse of those funds.

Not her district this time, but what about when it happens in your district AOC? What are you going to do? Going to the border and fake tears for immigrants while you throw school kids out if their schools, for some the only safe place for them.
