(Congressional Agenda) – If there’s one thing we’ve all learned about President Joe Biden since he’s been in the White House, it’s that he is both incompetent and lacks legitimate empathy for people, despite making many claims to the contrary. His latest comments concerning the fires raging in Maui, Hawaii, which have killed 99 people thus far, are proof of that. In fact, his comments were so callous that he’s now getting some pretty serious backlash and it’s not all coming for Republicans.
This guy is doing so badly in the polls right now, the last thing he needs is more negative attention in the press. Could not happen to a better man, right? The American people deserve to know the quality of character possessed by their leader. And Joe Biden has none.
Samantha Chang of The Western Journal is reporting, “Even some Democrats — such as former Hawaii state Rep. Mark Kaniela Ing — were appalled by Biden’s casual response to the horrific tragedy. On Sunday, when asked about the rising death toll from the wildfires, the president responded by saying, ‘No comment,’ according to multiple news reports, including Bloomberg White House correspondent Justin Sink.”
What makes the comment even worse is that the president resumed his vacation on the beach as if nothing was going on. How heartless of a reaction is that? People are dying in a massive tragedy and he’s pretending it’s just another day. This is absurd.

And the president turned around and did it again on Monday. So he can’t use the excuse that he was just having an off day either. It happened twice, on back-to-back days.

Ing then torched the apathy dripping off of President Biden in a post published on social media platform X.
“I campaigned for you,” the Democrat went on to say Sunday, as per a report from Fox News. “Now, when I lose dozens of my friends, family, and neighbors. This?”
Then, on Monday, Ing spoke out saying he was very disappointed by the indifference displayed by the president while this disaster was killing so many Americans.
“When tragedies like this occur, it’s shocking to see people just conducting business as usual,” he stated on Fox News. “On the one hand, you don’t want everyone to be in a perpetual somber mood, but on the other hand, how can you just carry on like that?”
“Ing said he understands that even the president is entitled to enjoy some down time, but he underscored that in moments of crisis, a true leader would step up to reassure the public,” Davis noted in the article.
“I think everyone deserves some time to take care of themselves, wind down, but as someone in [a] leadership role, you need to be ready any moment to offer some empathy and solace and comfort to people that are facing a lot of trauma right now,” he remarked.
Ing later deleted his X post, going on to state he’s not sure if maybe the reaction from Biden was taken out of context.
I deleted the tweet about President Biden saying “no comment” when asked about the #MauiFires on vacation .
It appears it was based on an email by a reporter was was lip-reading Biden, who was inaudible and only “appeared to say ‘no comment’”

However, Ing, in his discussion with Fox, revealed he’s still rather disheartened.
“Whether or not it was as dismissive as originally reported, it is quite disappointing,” the former state rep explained. “I would expect more. He should be talking about what he’s done and what he will do. The talking and offering words of solace and comfort, great. I’m not too hung up on that, to be honest. What I’m looking for is action.”
And, in what will likely not surprise anyone, Ing serves as the national director of the Green New Deal Network, so you can guess what he blamed for the wildfires. Yes, that’s right. Climate change. In light of that, he quickly urged the president to stamp out the fossil fuels industry.
“Declare a climate emergency,” Ing asserted in an interview with Fox News. “Deny fossil fuel permits, and invest substantial federal funds to the tune of $1 trillion a year.” Other experts in the field have commented that it’s irresponsible to blame climate change for the wildfires in Maui.
“Clay Trauernicht, a specialist in wildland fire science and management at the University of Hawaii, pointed to land management on the island,” The Western Journal divulged.
Still, blaming this on weather and climate is misleading. Hawai'i's fire problem is due to the vast areas of unmanaged, nonnative grasslands from decades of declining agriculture.

Hawai'i firefighters have been telling me for several years they're seeing fires burn hotter and faster than in the past – and I trust their knowledge. But fire and land use histories tell us fallow lands and grassy fuels are the key issue – and one we can deal with locally pic.twitter.com/91CTqMXQSg

If there’s one thing I’ve learned it’s that Biden is indeed compassionate and you sorry Trumpers complain that he isn’t sending as much money to an island as we have sent Ukraine. Quit whining. Your orangutan is finished.
Heartless
Another Trumper whining.
This article went right over your head.
So you Alan , Alan Gee are as heartless as Biden and all the rest of the libtards. No comment.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned is this site is one sided, democrats can say whatever but a conservative can’t. That’s communism if you didn’t know.
