(Congressional Agenda) – On Thursday, a federal judge slapped a temporary block on the White House from ending Title 42, a policy enacted during the Trump administration that requires all asylum-seekers to stay in Mexico and wait for their hearings in U.S. immigration court. And if you listen carefully, you will hear Joe Biden and his liberal ilk screaming in pure agony as their plan to flood the country with millions and millions of illegal aliens in order to mess with the demographics and create more lifelong Democratic Party voters gets swatted to the side.
For now.
A piece from the Associated Press says, “U.S. District Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk in Texas stayed the termination until legal challenges by Texas and Missouri are settled but didn’t order the ‘Remain in Mexico’ policy reinstated.”
However, the impact this would have on the program has not been made immediately clear.
“It’s a common sense policy to prevent people from entering our country illegally,” Texas Gov. Greg Abbott posted on Twitter after the ruling was handed down. “Texas wins again, for now.”

Ken Paxton, Texas’ Attorney General, also provided a comment on the court’s ruling.
“I sued Biden nearly 2 yrs. ago to keep Remain-in-Mexico. The Admin played games all the way to SCOTUS, but tonight Texas & USA WINS,” Paxton posted in a tweet.
“I just secured an order from a federal court ordering Biden not to scrap the program. Biden’s open-border agenda won’t survive my legal attacks,” he remarked.

“The decision comes as El Paso, Texas, and other border cities face a daily influx of migrants that could grow larger if separate asylum restrictions enacted under President Donald Trump end next week as scheduled,” The AP reported.
The ruling could potentially be a large, though temporary setback for Biden and his administration, which they might appeal.
The Department of Homeland Security released a statement saying that it disagreed with the ruling and was mulling over what to do next. It also claimed the government was within its authority to bring the policy to an end.
“Under Trump’s Migrant Protection Protocols, introduced in January 2019, about 70,000 asylum-seekers were forced to wait in Mexico for U.S. hearings,” the report noted. “President Joe Biden suspended the policy and other Trump border security measures on his first day in office. That sparked a long and tortured legal and administrative path.”
It continued, “Kacsmaryk, a Trump appointee in Amarillo, ordered that the policy be reinstated in 2021. The Biden administration complied with the order after agreeing to changes and additions demanded by Mexico. But it didn’t enforce the policy widely, and only a few thousand people were sent back to wait in Mexico.”
The Supreme Court ruled 5-4 back in June that Biden did possess the ability to end the Migrant Protection Protocols, however it threw back one of the main issues to Kacsmaryk, which was determining if the White House’s action was “arbitrary and capricious,” and thus a violation of federal law on the topic of crafting regulations.
“In his 35-page ruling, the judge said it was likely an October 2021 memo that was the administration’s latest effort to nail down termination of the policy did indeed appear to violate the law,” the AP wrote. ‘Among other things, the administration failed to consider the benefits of the policy, including reducing illegal immigration and “unmeritorious asylum claims,’ the ruling said.”
Kacsmaryk then stated that the Biden administration’s memo discussed the conditions that migrants potentially face while waiting in Mexico, but did not talk about the hardships they face “when making the dangerous journey to the southern border” to begin with.
