Did Harris Dodge Joe Rogan?

(Congressional Agenda) – Imagine, if you will, Vice President Kamala Harris, sitting down to have a conversation with the one, the only, Joe Rogan, who just happens to be the world’s most popular podcast host. It would probably be one of the most hilarious episodes of his program ever produced. Rogan, who isn’t a partisan individual, but really wants to pursue the truth and understand where people are coming from, would not shy away from asking Harris the really hard questions. And, because of the show’s unscripted platform, we know exactly how that would turn out.

We’d be tortured with three hours of word salads and nervous cackling. It would produce content similar to what is used by CIA interrogators on terrorists to break them and get critical, need-to-know intel.

During former President Donald Trump’s interview on the program, he asked Rogan, “Can you imagine Kamala doing this show? She’d be laying on the floor. If she did this kind of an interview with you, I hope she does, because it would be a mess.”

“She’d be laying on the floor. Comatose. She’d be saying, ‘Call in the medics,’” he added, as per The Western Journal. The host of the program then revealed to Trump that Harris was “supposed to” show up for an appearance on his podcast, but didn’t follow through.

“She was supposed to do it,” Rogan disclosed. “And she might still do it and I hope she does.”

“Earlier this week, the Harris campaign teased the possibility of Harris sitting down with the podcaster. Harris spokesperson Ian Sams said that the campaign ‘talked with Rogan and his team about the podcast. Unfortunately, it isn’t going to work out right now because of the scheduling of this period of the campaign,’ according to Newsweek,” the report noted. “On Friday, talk show host Bill Maher said Harris made the wrong call by ducking Rogan.”

“Yeah, I think it is a mistake,” Maher weighed in, going on to say “she needs to get out there.”

“It’s a mistake she didn’t do this show,” he later added, speaking of his own program on HBO.

Democratic Colorado Gov. Jared Polis then asked Maher if he invited Harris on the show.

“Of course!” Maher remarked. “We would’ve rebooked you for her, I hate to say.”

Maher and the panel of individuals on his program then chatted about Trump making an appearance at a Pennsylvania McDonald’s where he took an opportunity to work the fry counter.

“I think it’s brilliant,” CNN contributor Van Jones stated concerning the appearance. “I think when you have somebody who is a world-famous superstar, who’s a billionaire, etc, etc, and they do something you don’t expect, it’s brilliant media.”

“And I think we got to acknowledge that this guy is beating the pants off of us with these so-called publicity stunts. It gets into everybody’s feeds. And people who are not looking at politics will look at that. I think we just have to have more fun ourselves,” he concluded.
